Batley Grammar School is an all through school and takes learners in at three key entry stages. Each of these has a different Published Admissions Number (PAN) - this is the maximum number of learners that we can admit at these stages.

In order to apply for a Reception place at Batley Grammar School, you must complete the Batley Registration Form in addition to applying to Kirklees.

In order to apply for a Year 7 place at Batley Grammar School, you must complete the Batley Registration Form in addition to applying to Kirklees.
In-year Applications
In order to apply for an in-year place at Batley Grammar School, you must complete the Batley Registration Form.
In addition to the Batley Grammar School Registration Form, parents/carers need to apply via the parent portal for all in-year applications for September 2024 onwards.
Batley Grammar School will acknowledge receipt of your application in writing confirming the outcome of your application.
All year groups are currently full with waiting lists.

Batley Grammar School is popular in the local area and is oversubscribed, it is very rare that places become available. The appeals process will explore if an application made has followed the processes detailed in our admissions policy.
