Primary Phase

Welcome to Batley Grammar School Primary Phase, where we offer children from 4-11 years old a high quality, caring and enjoyable education.

We emphasise hard work, honesty, pride and respect for ourselves and each other. Highly experienced and dedicated staff ensure all learners are thoroughly motivated and are able to reach their full potential in all areas. We recognise education is a journey and pupils are supported in learning and challenged to be the best version of themselves.

We are a small, friendly one form entry phase with approximately 210 learners. Almost all of our Primary Phase learners continue their learning journey into our Secondary Phase, for which they have automatic entry.
