School Day Timings

Primary Phase

• 8.40 - Registration
• 10.00 - 10.10 - Assembly (on most days)
• 10.10 - 10.25 - Break for Y1-6
• 11.45 - 12.30 - KS2 Lunch
• 12.00 - 12.45 - KS1 Lunch
• 14.10 - 14.25 - Rec & KS1 break
• 15.10 - End of school day

Secondary Phase

• 8.00 – Breakfast Club – entry via the Dining Room entrance
• 8.30 –  Student Entry
• 8.50 – 9.30 – Tutor Time (Communication for learning)
• 9.30 – 10.30 – Period 1
• 10.30 – 11.50 – Period 2 (including 20 minute break)
• 11.50 – 12.50 – Period 3
• 12.50 – 14.20 – Period 4 (including 30 minute lunch break)
• 14.20 – 15.20 – Period 5
• 15.20 – 17.00 - Extracurricular activities / Intervention

*Assemblies take place most days on a rotation (by year group) during tutor time.

During a typical week, learners have a total of 32.5 hours in school.
