Wrap Around Care

Breakfast Club

We are delighted to announce that we were selected as one of the 750 schools taking part in the government backed free breakfast club scheme. The initiative aims to support working families and ensure children start the day with a nutritious meal, potentially improving their attendance, behaviour and attainment.

We welcome learners each morning to enjoy their breakfast and each new day brings the choice of a number of paper-based activities for learners to enjoy as well as books from our library.

The club is also giving our hard-working parents/carers the opportunity for an additional 40 minutes of childcare each morning, which over the school year is an incredible 130 additional hours.

We are eager to continue growing our Breakfast Club and invite all primary learners to join in our fun.

Our doors open at 8am each morning - we hope to see you there!

After School ‘Late’ Club

We also provide after school care until 3.55pm. This provision will run alongside the various extracurricular clubs that operate in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 3.10pm to 3.55pm.The cost for after school care provision is £2 per child, per session, which is payable through ParentPay.

Due to increased costs it will be necessary to apply a small charge to parents/carers who arrive late to collect their child, as per the terms and conditions outlined on the booking form.

Should you need childcare after 3.55pm, Happy Jays continue to operate from 3.00pm until 5:45pm.

How to Book

Parents/carers using either of these facilities should register their child’s details by completing the booking forms available below. Please return these to Mr R White; fees will be collected via ParentPay.
