Business Studies

Curriculum Overview

Students are set in mixed ability groups with 5 periods per two week cycle. The exam board is AQA Business Studies (A linear Course) and the scheme of work has been developed in house. Students will study six topics that include influences on business, business in the real world, marketing, finance, human resources and business operations. The course is assessed with two external papers, which will be taken at the end of the KS4. The specific assessment objectives for Business Studies are Knowledge (A01), Application (A02), Analyse and Evaluate (A03).
